Standard 1 : The Learner
Artifacts / Rationale:
Commendation: Debbie assessed student backgrounds and implemented strategies (1:1 conferencing). Teacher addressed each of the students in 1:1 respectable manner prior and during the lesson. Use of personal inventory survey to define students. Based on initial inventory survey, teacher is integrating additional strategies to develop student behavior (student affirmation statements).
